About Us
Tire Town Express has always been about more than selling tires or repairing cars. Behind our shops is a family story built on hard work, friendship, perseverance, and a genuine desire to take care of the people who trust us with their vehicles. Our story begins with Juan Arias, who came to the United States from El Salvador in 1989 with hopes of building a better life for himself and his family. He initially worked in construction, but an unexpected opportunity introduced him to the automotive repair industry. What began almost by accident quickly became something he loved. Juan found a passion for cars, the automotive business, and especially the customers he was able to help every day.
From One Shop to a Family Business
Along the way, Juan met Lukas, who became both a close friend and his future business partner. Together, they opened their first retail location in Corona, laying the groundwork for what would eventually become Tire Town Express. Today, the business has grown to serve customers from locations in Corona, Long Island City, and Freeport.
Growth, however, has never changed the family atmosphere behind the business. Juan works alongside his wife, children, brother, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, Lukas, and a staff that the family considers an extension of their own. That personal involvement is a major part of how Tire Town Express operates.
Tire and Auto Repair All In One
Tires are a major part of what we do, and Tire Town Express takes pride in maintaining a large selection that includes original equipment tire options. But our capabilities extend well beyond tire sales and installation. Our ASE-certified technicians provide maintenance, fluid services, suspension and front-end repairs, brakes, shocks and struts, ball joints, bearings, tie rods, axles, and other automotive services.
We also invest in equipment that helps our technicians do their jobs accurately. Our shops use Hunter laser-guided alignment equipment, Hunter Road Force balancers, new A/C equipment, and other top-of-the-line tools.
For added peace of mind and convenience, Tire Town Express offers:
- A 6-month labor warranty
- A 1-year warranty on parts purchased through Tire Town Express
- Uber or Lyft transportation within the radius of each location
Our family is involved in the business every day, and we take a personal interest in making sure customers receive honest recommendations, quality work, and attentive service. We want customers to feel valued, respected, and confident that their vehicles are in good hands.
Tire Town Express supports organizations including Tunnel to Towers, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Big Brothers Big Sisters as part of our connection to the communities we serve.
